including internet service provision, mobile networks, or other communication technologies, need to
obtain approval from the Ministry.
Importation of telecom equipment: Businesses or individuals looking to import telecommunication and
IT-related equipment, such as mobile phones, satellite devices, routers, or software, may need to receive
approval from the Ministry to ensure compliance with national standards and regulations.
Licensing: Providers of internet, mobile, or other tech-related services must have the appropriate
licenses issued by the MTIT to legally operate within Yemen.
Regulation compliance: This approval also ensures that telecom operations comply with Yemen's
regulations on data security, privacy, and other legal requirements.
