The Autorité de Régulation de Telecommunications et des Postes (ARTP) has published the assignment of frequency spectrum to a Mobile Network Operator (MNO) for the deployment of 5G network services in the 700 MHz and 3,4-3,8 GHz bands.

On March 17th, ARTP issued a new regulation for Short Range Devices.

September 2021
A new Type approval regulations guideline has been released by SENEGAL agency ARPT, on September 9th, 2021
The change in this regulation is the sample requirement announcement. This regulation states that a sample must now
be provided for any approval in the country.
This new provision will enter into force at the beginning of the year 2022.
Currently all the submissions are made without samples.
Senegal is in the process of building a laboratory which will be used for testing samples.
This laboratory will be ready for the beginning of the year 2022
