The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) in Lebanon is the governmental body responsible for overseeing and regulating the telecommunications sector in the country. Its role is to ensure that telecommunications services in Lebanon are provided fairly, efficiently, and transparently, in compliance with relevant laws and standards.

TRA approval generally refers to the process of obtaining authorization from the authority for various activities within the telecommunications industry.

Type approval in Lebanon requires acceptable CE reports.
Iridium technology only allowed if necessary license is in place which could be directly with the government or through a local carrier.
Lead time is approximately 16 - 24 weeks from the time all documents have been collected.
Certificate is valid indefinitely.
